The victim was struck around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24, near the intersection of Waterview Avenue and Crescent Avenue.
Capt. Lonnie Blackwell of the Bridgeport Police said Enamorado was riding a motorized bicycle when he was struck near the intersection by a vehicle that fled the area.
"The striking vehicle fled the scene and did not remain to render any appropriate aid to the victim," Blackwell said.
Jeffrey Omar Enamorado was transported to Bridgeport Hospital with life-threatening injuries but later died, the captain said.
He was a resident of Bridgeport.
"On behalf of the Bridgeport Police Department, we extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the victim," Blackwell said.
The cause of the crash, as well as the identity of the suspect vehicle, is currently under investigation by the Bridgeport Police Department Traffic Division.
